Cara believes in the “all foods fit” approach and structures counseling around creating balance within an individual’s dietary lifestyle. She supports each client through appropriate goal setting and nutrition counseling while acknowledging and upholding her client’s lifestyle and needs. She values one-to-one counseling for a personal and individualized approach.
Cara knew from an early age that had a passion for nutrition. She obtained her Bachelor’s of Science in Dietetics from James Madison University, located in Harrisonburg, VA, and completed her Dietetic Internship with Meredith College’s ISPP program. Cara currently resides in the Northern Virginia area where she continues to pursue her dream of helping people achieve their health goals through nutrition. She has worked in acute- and long-term care settings as well as with eating disorders in an inpatient and partial hospital setting.
