Megan is a Registered Dietitian who attended Johnson & Wales University, in Providence Rhode Island, and received degrees in both Culinary Arts and Culinary Nutrition. She completed her Dietetic Internship at Stony Brook University, in Stony Brook, New York where she worked with various populations providing nutrition education. Megan has had experience leading cooking demonstrations, facilitating support groups, and providing individual nutrition counseling and education. She was a valued member of John T. Mather Memorial Hospital’s exceptional team of Bariatric Registered Dietitians, and was awarded 10 service excellence awards for her dedication and compassion when dealing with patients.
Megan’s areas of expertise include bariatric nutrition, weight management, meal planning, cooking demonstrations, and disease management. Megan is an exercise enthusiast and strongly believes that in addition to making healthy food choices, physical fitness is an important part of leading a healthy lifestyle. Megan is passionate about sharing her nutrition knowledge with others, and helping clients gain the confidence to make life long changes and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
