  • I just wanted to touch base and say hello! I’m starting week 8 and I’m down (almost!) 20 lbs but one of my most exciting victories is that my cholesterol is down 67 points!!! I’m at 133 total cholesterol! I’m so happy and grateful to be in this program! Thank you!!!

  • Just returned from my Primary Care Physician’s appointment. She eliminated my blood pressure medication. Plans are to eliminate my cholesterol medication in another three months, and my arthritis medicine has also been cut in half. She is also running a Thyroid workup to see if she needs to cut that dosage down too. And I feel SO good!!!! Officially recorded in her office that I have lost 48 pounds. Hooray! Thanks so much for everything you and your wonderful team has done for me.

  • Just wanted you to know your work hasn’t been in vain, yesterday evening my blood sugar was at an all-time low for me, 121 and this morning only 160 (I ate after 8pm), so the numbers are slowly coming down as I change my ways. It hasn’t been that difficult to tweak and change things but I have to say my energy was really up this week and I was able to really sleep and feel refreshed. So it’s all going in a positive direction. Thanks again for all your help.

  • I would like to personally thank you so much for setting up this (Worksite Wellness) program for us it was very successful and everyone that participated was very happy with it. It has changed a lot of our perspective on what we provide to our employees for food. Traci was awesome and everyone loved her, she has unlimited knowledge and was able to really help a lot of our employees with issues that they had.

  • I am just an ordinary woman, not a health nut by any means, but I went through Kim’s program last year with success. The secret? Learning from Kim and her group about healthy, clean eating. Giving up the processed foods. She has had more than 400 people (yes, men too) go through her program in the last 2 years, and the success rate is phenomenal! Kim is a Registered, Licensed Dietician and her staff are all food and health professionals, as well…The staff works together as a unit to help people succeed. Even, if you don’t want to lose weight, this is the place to go for clean eating. What they teach is so helpful.

  • My experience with Devin has been nothing but beneficial and pleasant. I came to her with no real goals, just an open mind on overall well being and mobility. Having had multiple instances of past physical trauma as well as desk job ergonomic stresses/bad habits, I knew there were a couple key spots that I would have her address. These spots also became relevant in my CrossFit training. My first visit resulted in successful elimination of pain, which has never returned. Devin is very approachable upon initial contact and her knowledge and technique leave you with comfortable confidence in her skills.

  • The program implementation was professional and adapted to our company’s needs. The handouts enhanced the program tremendously and, because Nutrition in Motion provided the binder for the handouts, we each now have a reference book to refer to as needed. I would highly recommend to any company to use Nutrition in Motion as part of their wellness program. Kudos to Nutrition in Motion!

  • I am writing to let you know what a pleasure it has been working with Laura the past few months. She did a great job with our Holiday Challenge – everyone who participated loved her! Also, I was quite impressed with the posters she created for the NHDOT to help out our folks who drive snow plows during the winter. I am sure they will go a long to helping them make better nutritional choices! We are currently discussing other Nutrition in Motion programs with which she may be able to help us in the coming months and I am looking forward to seeing their roll-out. I just wanted you to know that, from my perspective, you have an excellent employee!

  • I wanted to check in with you and share the good report from my doctor this month – My labs show a great improvement in my cholesterol , went from 251 down to 225 ( WITH NO MEDICATION) and I have been able to maintain my weight loss at 15 lbs and holding ! I have a follow-up in about 4 months and will continue to work on improving and am swimming 2-3 times per week. I definitely want to stick with the Nutrition program in 2019 and am hopeful and confident to reach my goals . This experience has been such an eye-opening and motivator for me. Thanks to you for your help and expertise!

  • I just wanted to let you know what NIM has done for me. I’ll be 54 years old in 8 days and I feel like I’m half my age, I started going to see Laura Casterline in April or May of this year and Laura developed a plan that worked for me. Laura is one in a million do your best to keep this woman, Laura is a special kind of special. My experience tells me that you already know this. I will be screaming Nutrition In Motion from the Mountain Tops so loud that everyone can hear me. Kim you can check with Laura to see my stats. You are all in my prayers. I thank you and your staff from the bottom of my heart.

  • "By the time I finished my dietetic internship, I knew that private practice was the right fit for me. What I found, however was that it was tough to find practices who would even allow you to shadow them much less that were hiring RDs, and the thought of going out on my own wasn't very appealing. Working at Nutrition in Motion has allowed me to live my dream of being a RD in a private practice, while also feeling a part of a team. We're all here to learn from each other and support each other in our own businesses. Being a part of their team means I don't have to create every single handout, power point, or flyer that I use, yet I have flexibility to create new content as I see fit. The best part though, is having access to a group of amazing women who are there to answer my questions and help me grow in my practice. I wouldn't have it any other way."

  • "Working for Nutrition in Motion (NIM) has enabled me to educate and motivate people to reach their health goals. I have received guidance in becoming credentialed with insurance companies and on best practices to approach worksites and gyms to work with clients 1:1. They have helped me brainstorm on connecting with potential clients such as having a table at farmers markets, networking events, and outreach in the community. They are invaluable with billing support and want us to succeed in building our practice as independent contractors. If you have thought about starting a private practice and creating your own schedule, this team provides you with the support to meet your career goals."

    Lauren Karintikal, RD, LDN
  • "Working with the NIM team constantly exposes one to new and positive opportunities in the nutrition field. It is so motivating to work with such great dietitians and make an impact on many lives through preventative health services and nutrition counseling. As a private practice dietitian, NIM sets you up with all of the services needed for success. From billing and marketing to support and collaboration on different nutrition interventions, there is always a NIM member available to help!"

    Jessica Schores, RD, LD
  • "Starting a private practice position with Nutrition in Motion has been the best decision I have ever made for my career. I have had the opportunity to grow as a Dietitian, improving my counseling, public speaking and leadership skills. I have also learned so much from the other practitioners at NIM. I love that we all have different specialties and are able to help each other build up our knowledge base to become more well-rounded professionals and help as many people as we can. Having the ability to help athletes trying to improve their performance as well as individuals battling or trying to prevent chronic disease through nutrition keeps my day to day schedule ever-changing, interesting and SO rewarding. I love going to work every day, not only because of my clients but also because of the amazing NIM team. The NIM team to me are more than co-workers, they are like family. If you are considering joining the NIM team, I encourage you to do it and join the movement to help as many people as we can become a happier healthier version of themselves. You will not regret your decision."

    Laura Casterline, RDN, LDN
  • "NIM supports me by providing me with marketing guidance and materials, nutrition handouts, metabolism tests and body composition machines. I’m able to make my own schedule and collaborate with other dietitians to learn from their specialties whether that be pediatrics, gut health or sports nutrition. NIM has accelerated my 10-year career goal path to making it reachable in just one year. I love going to work everyday in a private practice setting. Worksite wellness is another great opportunity to see more individuals and see great change over the course of the nutrition programs."

Briana Bruinooge, RD, LD, Certified Personal Trainer
  • "My passion is helping clients tap their internal motivation and support their behavior changes to live healthier and happier. So the prospect of going into private practice was incredibly intimidating to me. I feared getting bogged down with all the business and insurance aspects would prevent me from doing what I love. However joining the Nutrition in Motion (NIM) team gave me access to the support I needed to gain confidence in building my own practice. It has enabled me to create my own schedule and affords me tremendous flexibility to juggle my personal and family needs as well. There's no way I could be in private practice and be able to focus most of my work time on actually helping my clients if I hadn't joined the NIM team."

  • After 2 weeks of Eat Well & Thrive at WGBH, we had to fully transition the program online in light of our new work from home policy. Employees have been enjoying virtual appointments with the dietitian and tuning into weekly virtual classes. Nutrition in Motion provided all the support that we needed to ensure that employees were able to make the virtual transition with ease. The convenience and flexibility of telehealth has ensured that all employees can participate no matter their schedule. We have found it to be especially beneficial to receive this support to better our health during this time of uncertainty!
