Stephanie Nicholson, MS, RDN, LDN, CLT

Stephanie Nicholson is a Registered Dietitian with a Master and Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. Stephanie has worked professionally in a variety of medical based settings including hemodialysis, diabetes management, eating disorders, oncology, and gastrointestinal disorders. She is also certified in Adult Weight Management and is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Stephanie has a special passion for working with individuals struggling with kidney disease. She believes that a whole foods approach to nutrition has the power to heal the body, restore, and preserve kidney health.

Stephanie also has advanced clinical training in food sensitivities as a Certified Lifestyle Eating & Performance (LEAP) therapist. Sensitivities play a specific role in triggering symptoms in patients with IBS, migraines, fibromyalgia, and rheumatoid arthritis.  She works with clinical laboratories to conduct testing to assess nutritional status, intestinal health, inflammation, digestion and food absorption. The goal is to manage adverse food reactions and help to heal the body from inflammation.

Stephanie strives to help her clients break free from “diet culture” by using an anti-diet plan.  She incorporates eating good whole foods with listening to your body. She takes a personalized approach to engage clients in nutrition counseling and mindful and intuitive eating along with meal planning. Personally, Stephanie enjoys living in beautiful Tampa, Florida, with her husband where she enjoys Lagree fitness classes, cooking, traveling, and the pursuit of lifelong learning.
